Blazin’ Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- Bubba Q Boys Competition Rub, to taste
- ½ cup Louisiana Hot Sauce (plus more for sauce)
- 1 cup flour
- Beef tallow, for frying
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
1️⃣ Season the Chicken – In a bowl, toss the chicken tenders with Bubba Q Boys Competition Rub and Louisiana Hot Sauce, making sure they’re fully coated.
2️⃣ Prepare the Flour – In a separate bowl, add flour and mix in a little more competition rub for extra flavor.
3️⃣ Coat the Tenders – Dredge each seasoned tender in the flour, making sure they’re evenly coated. Shake off any excess.
4️⃣ Fry Until Crispy – Heat beef tallow in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the tenders in batches until they’re golden brown and crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
5️⃣ Make the Sauce – In a small pan, melt butter, then stir in hot sauce and red pepper flakes.
6️⃣ Toss & Serve – Coat the crispy tenders in the spicy butter sauce and serve.
